Investigating Dissolving

Today we were exploring a special type of mixing called dissolving. We investigated what happens when you try to dissolve a solid into a liquid. We discovered that:

* some substances dissolve more easily than others
* some substances need to be stirred before they will dissolve
* hot water works better than cold because the molecules are moving faster.

Some of our solutions were very tasty!
