Poetry Competition - Week 10 - 7th July - 11.30 to 12.30

It's Poetry Time!!!!! Do you know a really good poem to share with the class? Have a look at the sites at the side of this blog; check out your bookcase; search the library; ask Mum or Dad; pick Grandma and Grandad's brains,  or write your own.

Over the next two weeks we will be focusing on poetry and on presenting poems.  The poem you present must be at least 7 lines long. Choose a poem that you really like. If you enjoy it, then your audience will too.  You will get the chance to present your poem to the class and the best presentation will be selected to represent the class at the finals in Week 11.

Parents/caregivers are welcome to attend the class poetry presentation which will be held in our classroom on the 7th of July from 11.30.
